The conference will be held at the Palace Hotel next September.
Manchester is a vibrant city with a niche for everyone. By day there are great art galleries, museums and Shopping (on the days either side of the conference)! By night there are restaurants to suit every taste and budget, theatres offering debut shows to classical opera, the internationally acclaimed Bridgewater Concert Hall and a dazzling array of nightclubs for those with the energy to keep going into the small hours. In addition to this the Peak & Lake district national parks are only a short distance away. You might consider combining your visit with a few days enjoying one of these areas.

Thanks for coming to Cambridge! We hope you enjoyed the meeting.
The 2009 Annual Conference was held in Cambridge in September this year. For the first time we invited the PIC Society from the Netherlands (Sectie Intensive Care Kinderen) to join us.
Dr. Mark Peters has taken over as chair of Paediatric Intensive Care Study Groups (PICS-SG). He will be writing to interested parties to consider how the group should function in future and would like to invite suggestions for any tweaks to the way it runs. Many thanks to all the team in Cardiff who hosted such a successful and enjoyable annual conference. For the first time one day was a combined meeting of the Paediatric Intensive Care Society and the Association of Paediatric Anaesthetists.
