He has also been a DGH consultant in Dorset. He is a qualified Dive Leader and Ski Instructor, skiing off-piste as much as possible, and also rides a motorcycle as a result of which he may not be President for very long... Kevin Morris was elected to council in 2009. He is a consultant at Birmingham Children's Hospital. He was voted to become the next President of the Society when Ian steps down at the end of his term later this year. Michelle has taken over as honorary treasurer from Helen Bailey. Michelle is now working in commissioning after long experience in clinical PICU. . Roddy O'Donnell has been a consultant at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge since 2001. He was director of PIC in Cambridge from 2002 untl 2008. He was elected to PICS council in 2007 and became secretary at the end of 2008 taking over from Michael Marsh. He has been on the medical advisory committee for PICAnet since 2002. He doesn't know how Ian Jenkins manages to fit it all in. Dr. Kevin Morris Mrs Lyvonne Tume (Nurse Member) Lyvonne Tume is the Lecturer Practitioner for PICU at Royal Liverpool Children’s Hospital and Liverpool John Moores University. Prior to this, she worked in London (Royal Brompton & Harefield) for 8 years after training and working in Australia. Her background lies in clinical practice, education and research, with her clinical MSc in Critical Care Nursing and a post-graduate diploma in Education. She is currently undertaking a PhD in the area of neuro-intensive care. She has been the chair of PICS-Education subgroup previously. Lyvonne is also a keen skier, but only on the pistes! |
